Re: Post Your Push VST Mappings
I guess the workaround for presets no being accessible is to make your own Instrument Rack presets with the relevant settings on the soft-synth. The use of non-standard preset systems and non-automatable preset-selection menus etc. is always going to present problems with external controllers. It's ...

Re: Post Your Push VST Mappings
I think you can assign Instrument Rack macro controls to any parameter of a plugin in the instrument rack, and these will appear as the first page of 8 parameters in Push. Any other plugin controls assigned with the Configure option will appear in subsequent banks of 8 controls in Push. Again, can't...

Re: Post Your Push VST Mappings
I can't check right now, because I'm also away from home, but my understanding is that you can just assign parameters using the Configure button of the plugin instance. The assigned parameters will then appear in Pus, without the need for embedding the plugin inside an Instrument Rack. The advantage...

Re: Post Your Push VST Mappings
manutech, I'm guessing not. That's one of the things that annoys me about plugin developers using their own proprietary patch formats and browsers- they don't work properly with devices like Push. Maybe it's possible to create your own library of Push-accessible presets for 3rd-party plugins, though...

Multi-Channel MIDI Files and Live 9 Browser
When viewing multi-channel MIDI files in the old (pre-9) Live file-browser, it used to be possible to audition the individual tracks, and drag them individually as clips into the Session or Arrangement views. This doesn't seem to be the case in the redesigned Live 9 browser. Does anyone know if ther...

Live OS X MOTU 828 Mk.III Audio I/O Settings Lost Every Time
Almost every time I start up Live, I have to setup my audio interface I/O settings in the Preferences from scratch. This is quite aggravating. I've installed the latest drivers for my MOTU 828Mk.III, and the latest Live updates (I'm on Live 9 Suite), but I've been having the same issue with Live 8, ...

Re: Max4Live Control Order With Automap
That works a treat, thank you bulo! Hmm.... now I'm wondering if it's possible to group the parameters so they appear on consecutive banks of controls on the ReMOE Zero. It would be really cool to be able to have each Oscillator in it's own bank, then the Filter with a bank. I suppose I could create...

Re: Max4Live Control Order With Automap
There's an 'Order' parameter in the Inspector for each control, but I don't seem to be able to set different values for each controls, ie, I set it for one control, and all the other controls seem to now have the same value.

Re: Max4Live Control Order With Automap
If you open the "parameters" window in max you've found something call "order" (or something like that, I don't have max open right now) for each of the mappable controls. I think that's where you need to look at. I don't see an 'order' column. Am I looking in the right place? h...

Re: Max4Live Control Order With Automap
sorry guys, but as far as I know there is no possibility to use novation's automap with M4L-devices as Automap needs a vst-dll. You can only set up Automap as a midi control surface and control the M4L-parameters of the blue-handed device via MIDI. And that doesn't even work satisfying because ther...

Max4Live Control Order With Automap
Is there some way to control the order controls created in a Max4Live device show up on Novation's Automap hardware? I'm creating an editor for one of my old MIDI synths, but I'm finding the controls come up on my ReMOTE ZeRo SL in the wrong order. Is there some way to explicitly set this in an M4L ...

Re: SYSEX Output
Hi psyfi, that's what this whole thread is all about. You can use custom Remote Scripts to get sysex to and from a given physical MIDI port. Since Mac4Live can 'talk sysex', you can manipulate it (or as in my case, create it), and send it out to a given interface. You can create controls in M4L that...
