It's not a specific Live thing. If a folder on a network share is deleted and you want it in the local bin, then the whole folder needs to moved from the network share to the pc. I just did a test: Save my ableton project on a network drive, freeze a track so that audio lands in the project folder, unfreeze the track so that the audio is no longer used by the project, go to project management to locate unused files, then dele...

thanks for your reply! i got your patch working (i'm a bit of a max noobie so it took me awhile to figure out that it's possible to simply paste code snips into the patcher :oops: ), followed your steps with operator, and you're right... it SEEMS to work. i wasn't hearing any audio output from opera...

Problem using M4L to control macros
i'm not sure if this has been discussed anywhere else (haven't been able to find it)... when i make a rack (instrument/midi/audio) and try to control its macros using a M4L patch, (eg with the CtrlGridSeq) it seems to work fine at first. ... until i go into Map Mode for the rack i'm trying to contro...
