Re: Really? APC20 accesses 125 scenes only?
is this limitation real, cause its a deal breaker, i will go and get a refund on my deposit right away if it is, i have over 750 scenes im my live session set (only 24 tracks but way over 125 scenes, why this small number, it's ridiculous, my electribe has 256 patterns and it dates from 2001 the wa...

Re: Expanding Mark Egloff's Step Sequencer...NEED HELP.
The solo/cue buttons are very important if you want to use several Step-Seqs in a performance, since you can create your next beat with CUE enabled (given that you have a second Audio-out to prelisten) while the other patterns are playing. Also, disabling the Activator/Solo/Recording buttons indivi...

Re: Expanding Mark Egloff's Step Sequencer...NEED HELP.
How about using the #5 scene launch button as a "Part Mute" and using the stop all clips button as "Solo". Of course shift would have to be relocated..... to the SHIFT button!!! sorry apc20 user's :( The mute and solo led feedback could work similar to this device http://www.synt...

Re: APC40 - Step Sequencer, Note Mode, 2nd Device Control, etc.
Hello noble Ableton Enthusiasts, Has anyone figured out how, when using the Step sequencer, to change Midi clips and get the Button Mattrix to refresh? It seems as though it will only "change clips" if manually selected with the mouse. Example: Clip one: - Holds a sequence Clip 2: - Holds...

Re: Analogue mixer with Ableton
OK, so number 1 is covered, and as far as 2 when you say: Sound coming from Live to the Mackie, to the pedals, and then back again. I would start to decide my entire setup because where is the final output from? Live to the nio outs or the mackie outs? Do you want to use the sends on the ableton mix...

Re: Analogue mixer with Ableton
Oh, I thought you just wanted to put some of your hardware pedal effects in the signal chain before you connected the micron(or other device) to the mackie, that's why I said in front or behind the micron(just like for a guitar you would put distortion/overdrive in front of say a delay/reverb). So f...

Re: Analogue mixer with Ableton
Hey I just looked at the ProFX12, and this already has a usb audio input and output card built in, since you have the nio already I would invest in one of there analog mixers. Plus you really don't need the mackie effects either I don't think(one mackie effect send, as apposed to unlimited sends and...

Re: Analogue mixer with Ableton
Sure, connect the outputs from the tape out on the mackie to the line inputs on the nio, set ableton to input from the nio inputs 1/2(MAKE SURE MONITOR IS SET TO OFF!!), plug in the Micron on line input L/R on the Mackie (put the guitar pedals in front of the Micron or behind and then into line inpu...
