There is no MIDI hardware device with zero delay and jitter.

BTW does something similar exist for Win users?

Results are interesting so far. I expected most users having small interfaces.

I also use a couple of channels only but which ones is constantly changing. So I keep most of them activated and that's there the confusion starts (e.g. S/PDIF).

As an owner of a MOTU 828mk2 I'm supporting a feature request for showing CoreAudio I/O names in Live

So I asked myself how much users would benefit of it.

If you need a good dynamic response on the pads, take a padKONTROL.

I use a MOTU 828mk2 currently and it's always a bit of trial and error when looking for the right input channel.

@phazed It works for me as expected, i.e. Live starts in normal mode when Logic is running. However, after installing the options.txt file I also deleted the Propellerhead ReWire software from both the common library and the user library. Live re-installs the software on launch but at this time the...

I also want to disable ReWire completely, but Live doesn't seem to recognize the options.txt file. I've tried different spellings (option.txt / options.txt / Options.txt etc) but nothing seems to work. Live always starts up as ReWire slave when Logic is running already. Any ideas?

Maybe the situation would become a little more unstressed if one gets additional unlocks automatically after some period of time. As it is expected that users upgrade their machines from time to time an extra unlock each x months would solve some of the manual requests.

@cristior: can you give us some info on the screen itself?
