Re: SL4P - SessionLooper 4 Push

Hi there:
I can't seem to make "footual" mode work. Live 9.1.6, OS X 10.8.5, Push latest firmware, tried flipping polarity on my footswitch, tried foot input 2 first, and input 1 just for fun.
Am I missing something?
Thanks.

Re: is ableton 9 coming out at midnight Berlin time?

Work is done! Bring on the 9! I'm working on in Pro Tools. wash your mouth out! I would really like to "ditch the bitch and make the switch." If i didn't have to use PT for work, I wouldn't. I never use it in my personal life, but I do radio variety show production work, and can't convince...

Re: is ableton 9 coming out at midnight Berlin time?

I am straight up lurking this thread just hoping it doesn't come out before I'm done with a mix I'm working on in Pro Tools. I know as soon as it is out, I'm not getting anything else accomplished for days, and I'm on deadline!
Crossing my fingers for midnight PST.

Re: APC40 Remote Scripting/Hacking

hi there. i have 2 control scripts and a vst that may help you. and they are all free! have you seen hanz petrov's remote scripts for the apc 40? remotescripts it gives you 6 pages of grid you can assign to do anything you want by editing the grid cc map and grid color layout. also you get undo/redo...

Re: Using XY Pad Without Manual Mapping

thanks for the quick reply, but this isn't quite what i was asking. i'm aware that the pad's axes send cc's. and i don't want to switch presets on my controller. i want the xy pad to automap the same way that the macros do, ie. when i select a device, the xy pad on my controller is automatically ass...

Using XY Pad Without Manual Mapping

Hi there. Can't seem to figure this one out. I want to be able to use an xy controller to automatically assign to whatever effect has the "blue hand" active on it. I know how to manually assign the pad to one instance of an effect, but I would like to be able to have it effectively automat...

Re: How do you make your live set seamless?

doing snap recalls is only a small part of what they do. basically, if it's in the live api, you can access it via these two add ons. take the time to check it out, it can really help expand what live does.

Re: Using Launchpad to re-record a clip

how about using clyphx to select the clip you want to delete, then have a dedicated delete button. clyphx can access almost anything in the live api, so you can tell it to select whatever you want it to select on a clip launch, or on a midi message. it can also do all sorts of other cool stuff. and ...

Re: How do you make your live set seamless?

^^^use clyphx and macrobat to recall all parameters associated with your next song. these virtual control surfaces add functionality that should be built in to live from the get go.

Re: Using Launchpad to re-record a clip

check out midi katapult. it's still somewhat rough, but allows you to create custom "pages" for launchpad that can send midi cc's, notes, and pc's, in addition to qwerty controls. i've set up my launchpad to have a page designated for all the things that i would normally need to touch my k...

Re: Guitar Rig AU does not receive program changes

john: i think i know what your problem is. if you see "audio out" instead of "midi out" it's because you have a vst on your midi track. this makes live give you the option to send its audio out, but not its midi. so, don't put any instruments on the midi track. leave it empty. it...

Re: Guitar Rig AU does not receive program changes

the problem is that guitar rig is on an audio track, so it's not listening for midi, only audio. here's how i run my rig: 1. create a new midi track and record arm it (or set input to "in".) 2. route the "midi to" to your guitar rig plugin on its existing audio track. 3. now when...
