Re: new Simpler is AMAZING!!!!
Awesome update. I got excited that it seemed to be able to show beats/bars as a timeframe for samples, but it seems thats only for the warped stuff.

Groove-Grid, Snap to Clips, Preview through Effects
 I tend to work more and more directly in the Arrange, with audio clips and whats not. Nothing warped, straight up audio. I also like to use various groove's on whatever Midi i do. Which leads to a problem - I can't really snap my audio clips to the same groove/swing as within the Midi-clip, ...

Hints about these monolake sounds?
So, i know my way around Operator, and made many pure Operator songs with it for years. Even so, im heavily intrigued by (all songs tbh) the sounds in this one: http://www.monolake.de/files_audio/free_tracks/Monolake_Decay.mp3 That snare is just so special, i wonder whats the secret behind it? Is it...

Re: DMG Audio EQuick makes Live unresponsive?
I guess i have to blame myself for not demoing it before buy. I did demo it like 6 months ago or so, or rather i demoed the EQuality which i found sounded teh awesome. So, i knew the sound already and didnt think i needed to demo again. Guess i was wrong! Tested it in Logic too btw, and acting prett...

DMG Audio EQuick makes Live unresponsive?
Bought it the other day, just because i want more out of an EQ than what EQ8 have to offer. It sounds GREAT and its nice to have more steepness to choose from, etc. However, Live gets very laggy, and unresponsive when using it. Anyone else experiencing this, or just me? Mailed DMG Audio about it, bu...

Re: Share your drum tactics in this thread.
Awesome thread, not many of this caliber around anymore. :) @Warrior Bob, if you visually want to see the waveform, u could use the Smexoscope on each channel. I personally use this device to look at the end result of the master, to spot any phase issues/problems. If you know what to look for, its p...

Re: Share your drum tactics in this thread.
Does anyone notice that a lot of samples (hats, snares etc.) are a little (half step maybe) flat in the left channel and a little sharp in the right channel? Ive noticed it with Wave Alchemy samples and among others. This makes keeping things in tune while panning difficult, while panning hi hats f...

Re: Workaround for not having Pre/Post switch on Track Sends?
Yes, thats one way to do it i guess. Not that smooth way of working tho, which means i wont do it. Thanks for the suggestion tho, ill see if i can figure out a way to do what i want, else i guess im forced to do inserts instead.

Workaround for not having Pre/Post switch on Track Sends?
As Live probly being the only host (?) not having individual switches for Track Sends being Pro/Post, i wonder if there is some kind of workaround for this?
I cant think of anything myself atm, perhaps someone already beaten me to it already anyway?

Re: Madrona Labs Aalto synth 33% off
I bought it 10min after the Sale was set to: ON! Awesome synth, nothing like it in the world of softies. Not just the incredible options inside, but the sound is the most "hw" one ive ever experienced. CPU suffers a bit from it tho, but the things you do in here, is stuff you probly resamp...

Yay for the speed, but ney for having to reinstall the OS every half month. + all the backups you have to do all the time. I'll wait til they last for at least 2 year before i jump on the wagon.

Re: Why does Battery sound better than simpler or sam for kicks?
You do realize that Simpler wont play the audio in HQ mode tho?
Its the same as importing audio in the arrangw with the HQ box ticked off. Sampler on the other hand, have HQ options, so try that and it should sound the same.
