Re: Syncing two live sets in arrangement

thanks for your reply!

combining it in a single set is diffcult, as one computers runs audio (Macbook) and the other renders lights

weird thing is that the automation gets out of sync when syncing two live sets using ableton link

I am trying to sync two live sets their arrangement positions (on 2 computers), one master and one slave the main set contains tempo automation, the other set is run on EXT (both Live 11) at the moment there are two issues: - there is no solid way to sync both tempo and arrangment position - the...

PD Pitchbend for live, free for the world

In Pure Data I have created a pitchbend for live, which is a little more advanced than a normal pitchbend. While djing with live, I found I had to change the range a lot, and that is now fixed! With this patch you have a range from 80-200 BPM without loosing the precision of your midi tempo-fader. T...

However, are you aware of any disk space calculation formula?
the formula is

2 (stereo) * 16 (bit depth) * 44100 (sample rate) = bits per second
bits per second / 8 = byte per second
byte per second / 1024 = kb per/sec
kb/sec / 1024 = mb / sec

so cd quality is 0.168 mb.sec

I think...

a little quote from the ms pinky website One example of an application that was created using MsPinky's MPVT object is the product "Torq" from M-Audio. Another great example of a DJ-oriented application that features Ms Pinky's vinyl control is djDecks. To see how Ms Pinky's vinyl control ...

They could so easily make this the stripper down version, and make another one which actually has the proper controls, and call THAT the pro

Did they ever use live in this kind of dj setup befor, i'm wondering...

by the way, you wouldn't have to use dummy clips. just mapping the "Note" parameter of a resonator over a keyboard range would work i guess. but that's not what' i'm after. @Nixon: IMO the Grain Delay is much harder to control, it changes the sound too much, induces a delay and doesn't sp...

Cool! Making A vocoder with live plugs only is actually the first thing I tried when I got Live 6! I didn't think of resonators though.. A chorus, grain delay and a midi assigned simple delay with a reverb at the end of the chain goes somewhat into the right direction. I will try the resonator later...
