Not sure, but sounds related.. Live crashed several times yesterday when trying to map new midi devices in midi-map mode.

Haven't noticed this before. On the other hand I'm not sure if this was the first time I had to set up new midi devices with the newest Live version.

I got lately crashes when sending midi data to ableton.
Also OSX crash report had some lines about midi.

my main request is for them to improve lives stability. avoid more bloat, and get back to a rock solid audio engine that can take almost anything you throw at it. Obviously some of the ideas here are much needed, but live isn't the rock it should be right now, and until it becomes what it should be...
