I want to buy a novation controller in order to control better Ableton.
The thing is on the Novation SL MKll there are just 8 sliders, so is it possible that same fader to control different channels volumes...like the selected track or something like that ?

ok, when I turn a knob on Evolver for example I want to see how the automation takes place as much in clip as on the lane in the arrangement view

I got this problem which I seem not to be able to solve. It's about automation of my external synths in Ableton in the arrangement view and I am not talking about clip envelope automation but lanes automation like with the vsts.

I solved it: I synced it to Ableton using traditional midi cable, but also after that I think I solved it in Ableton, of course not more than one instance at a time. It looks like it was to much for Ableton to handle both Battery and Maschine I guess...Battery was already in the project template whi...

I got last version of Ableton, and the Maschine 1.5. I don't see why can that happen. Do you guys think that 3Gb of RAM are not enough and can be the reason for these crashes, someone from NI forums said that, even though I doubt it? (would 6Gb be enough?)

I just bought Maschine and it works fine in standalone mode. Each time I load it in Ableton though, it crashes it. My question can I midi sync them? I mean Maschine in standalone and Ableton on its own. If I don't find a way I can't use Maschine , as Ableton is the main DAW and even though Maschine ...

It would be great, not to say normal, to have delimitations at every bar or so...like thicker vertical lines...to see better when a bar ends and so forth.. I mean all DAWs have this, it shouldn't be a big deal...but to the people working with midi it is...
