thanks for the help on this - i think that there isn't an easy fix to this... sure it can be made easier, but it's a bit like DJing. It will take some time and practice to get right, but that's all. Thanks!

That makes sense - I know it can be matched by using the CDJ that way, but I was trying to keep me from jumping onto the decks to do this... the idea is that we can each be doing our ownthing for the full gig. I'll try assigning the tempo range now - thanks :)

Beatmatch in Live from laptop to decks - stuck!

OK so here's something I've started to mess around with, as I've got a show coming in January that my partner and I going to do a PA of sorts with 2 x CDJ1000s, a 600, a 300, my laptop, Ableton and my midi controller.

So, the idea is to rip all the tracks he'll be playing in DJing in the set... not ...

copy/cut/paste FX from one channel to another...

It would be cool if you could use the cut/paste commands to simply cut an FX unit from one channel and paste it onto another. I know you can do all of this with by saving presets and the like, but for Live one of the things is simple ease of use. Using the pointer tool is a breeze to zoom in/out ...

Something I'd like to see: when using the browser to search for files, a way in which to choose a specific volume to search rather than indexing all volumes - the search engine seems a little slow right now (I cancelled the search), as it was wading through the 100's of GB of files I have on my ...

The program has crashed a couple of times when I have tried to drag one of my VST's into a track. I already emailed the log file to you. :)

Other than that everything seems to be fine.
