this problem is real, you need to try a quick finger drumming of 1/16 notes in 120 BPM.
Ableton drum rack is skipping notes while playback is running!
I tested it with a simple project with basic dram rack settings, no choke groups no FX.

given push 2 has 16 buttons, won't it make perfect sense if instrument and drum racks had 16 mappable buttons?

I'm experiencing a similar sync problem:
I set negative MIDI clock sync delay and I'm able to record external drum machine exactly on grid.
BUT, when playing without pressing record, the audio is not synced with Ableton click (even with direct monitoring)

I really hope there's a simple solution for this.
i cannot simply map Ableton live 8's XFade to my synth modwheel.

I am stuck with that annoying left center right thingie.
Where is the slider assignment?
