Thanks...turns out my problem is a little different. Im trying to stop a scene with the same midi note that I am using to trigger a sample in the drumrack. Any ideas?

Is there a way to stop a scene from playing while simultaneously triggering a sample. Say I have loops playing and I want to trigger one shot samples with one drum pad then hit my other drum pad to have the next scene start. thanks... maybe i am missing something here but the ability to edit several files and select different areas of the file is vastly superior to alchemy. so why not reneder the iris wav and import into alchemy for the best of both worlds.

i have a newer Lenovo W520 quadcore 2.4ghz i7 2760qm processor. its great. tons of speed and 500gb drive. had a toshiba before. will never buy toshiba again...
