Re: 8.1.4b1 is out

I just recently encountered the problem with effect macro values resetting to zero after reloading the set. I hope the new version fixes this. I see its listed here for being fixed for plugins.

Dumb problem with Live and BCR2000

I have not used Live in some time. I upgraded to the new version and I cannot get my BCR2000 controller to work. I think I am having a general problem with the controller. If I try to send a syx file to the BCR it does not respond when I initiate the send with the edit light flashing on the BCR. Usu...

I never need to use the LOOP or metronome when warping. I simply line up the first beat (pretty much as shown) then correct the BPM (if it is wrong in the track box) then check to make sure the warp markers are lined up at the end. THATS IT - I DJ progressive house, breaks and minimal Occasionally A...

Many clubs have pioneer 1000s so they are standard. 3d is great but you can't actually get away with calling pioneer sub standard. Thats speaking from too much internet and not enough playing out.

I'm in Birmingham so about 2 hours away. I visit ATL regularly to see friends and hit the clubs.

I would still be interested in an ATL usergroup.

Here is my current setup using one preset for djing. It controls 3 audio channels and one return channel. More is always nice but I found I can control 3 channels easily with the layout of the BCR200 being what it is. Again this is for playing out, for other applications I also use the mackie contro...

you should get the bcr over the uc33. The technology of the bcr is more up to date and will work better with live. Transitioning from knobs to faders isn't as dramatic as you may think. I was very stubborn about this but but there is no reason why you can't use knobs over faders. The BCR is much mor...

I for one am so happy that finally there are going to be machines that are fast enough to actually do everything you want them to do. Hasn't this statement come up a million times since the beginning of computing? We'll be oh-so-happy, until Live8 comes out and does this crazy thing that no-one has...

if your feeling the slowdown in session view its a good idea to use live's drag and drop file system features so you only have whats needed in your session view at any given time. you can't have 100+ tracks sitting in session any more

Whatever, pc you go with get as much cpu speed and memory as possible. Strip the pc down so performance will be geared towards your production utilities. Live runs great on pc with no problems. Just needs plenty of speed and memory. I have a AMD 3200+ with 1 gig ram. My machine is a bit dated but is...

I'm having trouble getting my factory drivers installed for my BCR2000 in winxp(sp2). Actually, they seem to install properly but no programs including live 5 reconize the BCR with the native drivers installed. When I use the generic drivers everything works (but there are some problems with using t...
