In the case of a selection containing only a single audio clip It would be nice (and sensible) if Live respected the settings of the clip as it was preconsolidation i.e. whether it had Loop activated or not

Not sure if there's a way to do it in session view but you could move the clips concerned onto arrangement view and use the ctrl-shift-drag slide clip content feature and when you're happy drag the clips back to session view

Does it matter that I have no devices on any of the tracks in my test? There was almost 1/16th of delay in that particular test

Hi rdan76, If you happen to be on Live 11 now you can adjust clip fade handles of simultaneous clips by linking the tracks. Note this also requires the clips' edges to be perfectly aligned If the clips aren't perfectly aligned you can also just drag over a small selection that just covers the edges ...
