I keep getting this message asking me if i want to delete the temporary files. Why's it doing this, i cant find anything in the manual?

i dont unerstand the consolidate but, if you've just sliced it why would you consolidate it? you'd have the same loop you had before?

i am also finding the cpu usage a little much, its a pity because 5 is a great release...still love it though & good work by the ABleton team.

i have to say this is the only thing that i dont like about live, it seems so crazy, surely in the page that you do all your proper mixing it would make sense to see the mixer?!
I really really hope they change this soon, like you say its just a gui thing.

you should be able to do side chaining, what you're trying to do is pretty much the same as de-essing but at a different frequency.

id like to be able to see & use the mixer in the arrangement view

yeah i suppose there's that way, just seems weird to me that the mixer isn't shared in both views. im making dub so i like to be able to see the mixer & do something on the fly...you can only see one paramether at a time can't you in the arrange page?

am i going mad? how can i have the mixer showing in the arrange view? I want to mix down in the arrange page but i have to keep flicking back to make an ajustment. Ive looked in the manual but i cant see anything about it in there.
