this would be useful in a DJing context where you would be able to have e.g. only 4 tracks displayed but therefore a lot more space for the ...

I don't know if anybody mentioned that before but as you asked for further suggestions here's what I think would make an improvement: Overview mode for the clips (like in Griid) to jump quickly to a specific area in a large set ...
