I'm using Auto Shift to tune vocals. I noticed that whenever I render the whole song, vocal tracks with Auto Shift always get rendered in lower volume, unless I freeze the vocal tracks before rendering. Seems like a weird bug. Does anyone else have this issue? I'm running Live on a MacBook Pro M3 Max.

I desperately need this too. Now I have to go back and forth between Ableton and Reaper.

+1 for getting rid of the "Check online for updates?" window on launch.

I've also had to download manually because the automatic update checker hasn't found any updates.

It could be displayed once, and have the option for never showing it again, with instructions on how to check for updates within ...

Seriously, until this 8 nonsense is as stable as Live 4.1.4, then no one should be using Ableton Live for anything more than a clunky studio tool. Live 9 should not see the light of day until well into 2012, at the very earliest.

Yep. This one's really unstable. Can't work even for 2 minutes. I can't really locate the problem either. The crash seems to come regularly, regardless of what I do.

Pretty good. I was hoping it to me faster, though. I don't really like the retroish sweep synths, but the power lead and the glockenspiel sounds rock! The drum track could use a bit more variation in sounds, and maybe a bit more "thump"? The flute in the end is also very nice. Generally I enjoyed it ...

Oh damn. I wish there will be another beta before this one expires. We have a show on the first of January, and files saved with newer betas cannot be opened with 8.1. I only wish there will be a new beta before next year. Please!

I would rather 'suffer' the lack of group tracks in Live 7 than deal with not using Absynth, Massive, Zebra, Kontakt, and as soon as I can afford it Alchemy. Operator and whittled down versions of AAS instruments just don't cut it for me, sorry Abes. :(

It's a pity that Live 8 is so unstable. The features are great, but people won't get to take full advantage of them until the bugs are fixed. I would definitely recommend taking a break from implementing new features and concentrating on fixing bugs instead. I've seen a lot of improvement in ...

Komplete 6 is a great package. I'm not a big fan of Ableton's Suite instruments. I own Suite 7, but don't use it very much. So, my vote goes for Komplete. I've thought about getting one myself.

8.0.5. seems very stable in comparison to older versions of Live 8. Anyway, I got my first crash after a couple of trouble-free days using 8.0.5.

Live was working pretty well until I added Amplitube as an audio effect on a vocal track. It worked for a few minutes and then...crash.
