Re: Mini waveform on clip in Session

+1 for some midi / waveform feedback both on the session and arrange view clips right on the clips themselves.

Sampler wishlists...

Looking forward for some improvements with the sampler:

- Keyswitch mode between multisamples like Kontakt etc.
- Maybe better streaming or better loading times for larger multisamples.
- Ability to modulate Zone Shift with lfo

Apart from this I'm already in love with it.

Re: Alarm Call (trilian synth patches demo)

Well... Trilian patches sound more alive yet neutral to me. But it is easy to customize patches with the big knobs in the custom controls page since every patch has it's own useful parameters assigned to then.

Re: Alarm Call (trilian synth patches demo)

The new custom controls page makes a real difference for me with the synth bass patches. With some ARP Rhythm patches it feels like your tweaking a groovebox or something with all those knobs and feels like a performance synth. Sound is pretty more rough and vintage than omnisphere basses too. I act...

Alarm Call (trilian synth patches demo)

Trippy electronica stuff. Made with 4 Trilian synth patches and some drum loops within Live 8.

Alarm Call

Hope you enjoy. :)

Re: A proper Step Recording

Agree. Live's way of step recording is useful for certain things as a new approach, but it leaves something to be desired for old-skool step recorder users.

Re: A proper Step Recording

that matter to input a note goes against the purpose of being able to quickly input notes. Except when you need to put in more than one note per step. If you're limited to a monophonic instrument, sure. Advance automatically. But when might want chords you can input the C and the E and the G, then ...

8.0.4 crashes when overwriting .adg or .adv preset

Windows XP sp3 / Ableton 8.0.4 Live 8 crashes when you overwrite an *.adg or *.adv file. Here are the steps: - Drag/drop an adg/adv file from browser onto a channel. - Tweak the preset. - Drag/drop the device back to the browser, where the preset is. - Ableton adds "-1" to the file name. D...

A proper Step Recording

For a long time I was into buying Ableton Live but due to some missing features (step recording is one of them) I didn't dive into it. With Live 8 I was really excited with the announcement of Step Recording feature but when I tested it with Live 8 demo, the way it is implemented is really awkward w...
