I'm trying to set-up my fireface 800 with ableton but I'm not sure how to do it. Could you guys run me through the set-up please. I have a macbook pro. Pics would be helpful. Thanks a lot.

I just got a new 13-inch Macbook Pro. I bought it because my old computer was running way too slow for Ableton. It would stutter and not play sometimes because my songs are too big. These are the specs for my new computer:

13-inch: 2.3 GHz
2.3GHz dual-core
Intel Core i5
4GB 1333MHz ...

Is it possible to record keyboards on ableton without using the sounds in ableton? I want to record sounds from my Roland Fantom and Korg R3. Thanks for the help.
