Re: Momentary MIDI
How about leaving the rack on all the time and putting a utility effect before it with an infinitely negative gain
when you press a key (not sure about apc , try it first with a midi keyboard) the utility goes to 0 db
the rest of the time it's at a mute functionality

Re: why should I get a macbook pro?
My 2 cents: I'm a sysadmin at work, I have a pretty in-depth knowledge of windows (although I'm a unix sys) and had a win laptop for years. I read dozens of optimizing manuals and knew every trick in the book. two years ago I switched to a mac book and never want a pc system again (especially vista)...

Re: Constraining Breakpoints In Envelopes
The whole breakpoint issue is in fact annoying as hell for instance "why can't I enter an exact number with my keypad????" and many more complaints I know this is a shitty solution , but when I need exact breakpointing I just zoom in massively so I get more control You can always open (yet...

Re: Warp mode causing clips to sound jumbled up - -please help.
I've found warping an art more than a tool, an art BTW that I haven't mastered yet :) Try the (many) different warp modes and you'll see that each mode changes the sound differently. Search the forums and the internet on countless discussions on the topic of warping. Most of all be patient, there's ...

Re: change midi assignations on the fly?
Here's a really crooked way:
* make 2 identical chains , each with the controller assigned to a different parameter
* switch between the chains

Re: Midi map track volume for audio OR midi tracks?
You could add a utility device at the end of the device chain and control it's gain
all midi chains followed by an audio device become audio chains

Re: How to pitch shift multiple tracks ?
Try this:
Group the tracks and select all 3 of them + the grouping slot
you see the transpose is linked to all 3 clips
now map that transpose to a midi knob
hope this works
