are you using conversion to rca? don't do it. Use 1/4 in jacks. Even just a 1/4 conversion end off of rca. Guaranteed.

sounds like he's using the original reaktor 5 version, and not any of the updates. When reaktor 5 first came out, i had the same problems until i installed the update

lived in astoria for a year, and the location, pricing, and local stores, are all worth it. Keep it higher on your list of places, and you won't regret it. With the right timing, you can be at NYU in 20-30min.

usb 1.1 blows.. don't bother "dickin around with old shit." For audio production, usb 2.0 is fine. But, for multi-track recording, i would only use firewire/7200rpm. When i get these questions, i explain to people that the extra 50$ or so you're going to spend is worth not having to be put...

you should do what you feel. If you think you can make it sound better in Live and it's easier for you, don't waste time importing exporting etc.. if you think live won't give you the quality you're looking for, then use both.
