Relative Midi Mapping
It would be cool if you could assign the same midi controls to Loop, Set Start, Set End on all channels, but only route the incoming midi command to a selected channel. This would be useful for DJ and performance use cases, as to not consume so many knobs and buttons ...

Bulk actions on clips
It would be really useful to be able to copy / paste and apply bulk actions (automations, transformations, etc) to multiple clips at once.
Use case:
I am using a drum rack full of kicks with a pitch device in front of it. As I change the pitch, a different sample gets triggered.
I have a series ...

Follow Action Global Bypass / Activation
Would be cool to have a transport-level button that is midi assignable that would globally enable or disable follow actions.

In a live performance, you can chop up a composition and use follow actions to move through an arrangement

Groups / Scenes / Multiple Projects / Devices on Clips
Here's my wish list:
Name group "clips": when collapsed, it is impossible to know what's inside. This would be useful for performing.
Exporting scenes
Importing scenes: Right now you can import an entire channel via dragging and dropping. Would be great if you could this at a scene level ...

Re: Massive X - Massive F (Up)?
I bought Massive X minutes after it came out. After all, how on earth could it not be stellar? Well it sucked for sure, I couldn't get past the CPU intensiveness. I put it on the shelf for a year or whatever, did the upgrades and am messing with it now. Definitely a bunch of improvements though I'm ...

Best Performance Mixer?
Hey everyone!
I'm looking to add a "performance" mixer into my rig, something that has onboard effects and is playable. Right now I've narrowed it down to the Roland MX-1 and the Behringer DDM4000. Anybody using either and have some thoughts?

Re: Can you change audio routing on the fly?
I figured out a solution:
https://gumroad.com/valiumdupeuple
It's a max for live device that lets you route anywhere. So I setup a chain selector that lets me get the signal where I want to send it.
Any other tips or ideas are welcome, though!
Maybe I'll try to build my own M4L device as well...

Can you change audio routing on the fly?
Hi everyone!
Anyone know how to do this:
Is there any way to change the routing of a track into another track on the fly?
Here's the use case:
I'm using Ableton as an effects box for a hardware setup. I want to send each bit of hardware into Ableton on it's own track, have the signal be dry until ...

Audio Transformation and Auto Fades
This is something I've been doing lately which is very tedious but has thus far produced the best results vs. other techniques.
I will write a sub bass in a VST (operator, serum, whatever). Then bounce to Audio. Typically the audio may have tails for whatever reasons, so I proceed to isolate the ...

Save Midi Mappings as standalone files that can be imported
It would be amazing to be able to save different controller mapping / configs and import them in.
use case:
I have my full DJ controller setup and a smaller setup (Push 2 + midi fighter), and I'd love to be able to play the same set, but switch out what controllers are activated and the mappings ...

Launchpad Remote Script for Multiple Matrices [Help Req]
Hey everyone,
I saw in Will Marshall's Advanced APC MKii he breaks the APC grid into two 4x5 matrices, where you can move the left one, and the right one is static.
I'm trying to emulate something like this on the Launchpad.
Ultimately what I am hoping for is to create Four 2x7 matrixes ...

Midi and Keyboard short cut assignments saving / importing
I am working on a DJ set and want to use the same template but experiment with different controller configurations.
It would be great to be able to export the midi controller assignments as a separate file, that could then be later imported into the set.

Drum racks to trigger clips from session view
It would be incredible if instead of dropping samples into slots of a drum rack, you could assign clips / clip positions into the slots of the drum rack.
Simple use case example
DJ Set in Ableton, using 2 songs - A and B
4 tracks in session view
track 1: audio clips for drum rack
track 2: left ...

Scripting to edit Analysis files / sample parameters
I am prepping a DJ set in Ableton for the first time in years. It's a fresh reminder on how painfully laborious the process is.
I'm taking a full track and creating 2 copies in session view, renaming copy 1 "Intro" and copy 2 "Drop". Then I am going into each and setting Intro to typically end at ...

Wacom Tablet for Mouse Replacement
Hi everyone,
I've got golfer's elbow (don't play golf) and have been experimenting with trackpads, trackballs, and am now trying to figure out if a wacom tablet will help if used as a mouse-replacement.
