Demo Install
I am back to Live after a very long break and find that my Live 5 install is clearly way out of date.
Can i install the Live 7 Demo on the same machine as 5 to try it out without screwing up my Live 5 config?
Thanks in advance, its good to be back.

I think there is a lot to be said for a real magazine. I want to read something on the train on the way to work and I eagerly away the arrival of a cellophane wrapped shiny mag. I don't think printing out online articles would replace that. I starte off with Computer Music and it was good in the beg...

I didn't renew my subscription this year as I found the mag was getting worse and worse and the quality of the DVD was just appawling. (It is clear that no one ever watches back the edited features before burning them to DVD and sending them out. I've seen sections of interviews duplicated in the sa...

Hi Guy's, I'm up for a meet up in Putney as my girlfriend lives there and I'm there a large percentage of my time. Cheers I could do Putney too as I live in Kingston. Wednesday would be cool to, it'd be difficult (I think) to get people turning up on a friday on a regular basis. I really should get...

the government under george bush has done more to ruin this country than any terrorist act ever could. I thought voting him in WAS a terrorist act!? I love how people in england think they actually have a clue about the US government. You guys dont know 1% about what actually goes on over here. jus...

yeah right. the little "3 spoof" on the bottom right gives it away, ya almost had me there, but since track three is called "BassArp" methinks this is a photoshop production (though it could be nice on a big monitor!). I had to put that in there as my last spoof was actually taken as real Live func...

Thanks for the replies, Well erm the sensible one's anyways. I defragged my hard drive, does'nt seem to be any reported problems, but it has'nt solved the problem so I'm removing the set and VST, it's a shame cos I had a really cool sound going on. You don't need to delete the set, just copy it som...

Any odd mechanical buzzing noise from a hard drive is generally not good. It could be that the drive is on its way out and the sectors that that particular Live set are stored on puts the drive and/or read heads into a position that is causing some internal friction that should not take place. It wo...

Re: next meet
Hmm, that'll mean I'll actually have to finish a track.jellyfish wrote:the half dozen or so of us who turned up at the now historic first London meeting agreed that it would cool'n'groovy if at the next 1 everyone bring a track of some kind that they've cobbled together on 'live'
