I ditched Traktor for Serato years ago and have never looked back. Serato is awesome if you like to DJ. Traktor is awesome if you like to put fx on tracks... Considering your on the Ableton forum. then you should get serato. it's funny just how true this ends up being, you read so many noobs decide...

I don't believe it has to do with hiphop, i've been around dvs systems and users since the first final scratch on beOS but have never been to a hiphop club or even seen someone spin hiphop with serato or any DVS before. not saying it's not happening, just saying it's not a part of my life...I don't ...

i liked the nanokontrol too although the controls are pretty cramped, not sure if i would want something that small for live use.

hi like the title states, I tried the launchpad for my setup and it's just not for me. it's a great piece of hardware at a pretty good price but I don't find myself triggering off clips in session view and honestly my use of ableton isn't my main focus. that being said, i would prefer to find a buye...

thanks downloading now, hopefully that solves it without bringing any other problems. aside from that issue, the version of live i was running was running great, no crashes or anything thus far

so how do i get the newest version of the launchpad edition? i don't see a download for it in the downloads section on the ableton site.

cause i don't think rewire was installed even though it says there is rewire in this edition. don't see ableton in the rewire options of reaper for example

it says 4 of each in the link i provided, and i'm pretty sure they had it at 4 on that list for a while, i got my launchpad 2 days after it came out.

i'll check for an update when i get home today...

hi, I using the launchpad edition of live, and according to this chart: http://www.ableton.com/pages/2009/novation_launchpad_vs_live8 i should be able to use 4 instances of VSTs, but when i'm using the software when i try to add a third VST the software doesn't let me saying i can only use 2 at a ti...
