I'll do some more testing checking the max console logs as well, and if I can't figure it out I'll post a bug report.

I tried other envelope followers but, they don't give me the same response I want.
I chose this one a while back after testing all the alternatives.

I'm using the inbuilt Max, not inclined to want to downgrade.

Don't know if it's a Max issue, or Live issue that's causing it, or both.

I can't believe I just upgraded to Live 10 and the midi support is still crap.
Reaper is a $60 program yet it has extensive midi capabilities, including direct event views with filters. AND staff.

Hi.
How do you set the info text at the set level?
If you mouse over the live sets in the construction kit folder in the browser info text is shown but I can't figure out how to add it for a new song.
Clips, tracks, effects etc are just a right click, but set/song level?

first... you do know that the compressor and gate in live both have sidechain inputs ...right? secondly... check your midi mappings.. sounds like you got that CC going to the track/device header... (thus selecting it when the CC is being sent... live doesn't choose the track if you use midi for the...

ah, doh! Looks like a CC got mapped by mistake to Select Device.
