It's better to use audio clips when you can, because there's less load on the cpu and less to go wrong. On top of that it will be much less hassle to export the material from PT/Logic if you simply bounce it to audio.

VC seems to behave better under Live with this version (5.0.0.10) than with earlier versions (4.5.3). (I'm on a Mac fwiw.) But harder to read. Drum rack nesting (to any level) is great, and the proof is that it's used all over the library instruments and partner instruments. It would be nice to have the same thing for track groups.
