Re: omisphere... i dont get the big deal.

I don't get the hype over women's vagina. I can get everything I need out of my hand at 1/20th the effort, hassle, and time. And the steep learning curve and fucking around with the unstable operating system just to get something ho hum out of the vagina before it crashes is a big joke. Yet people ...

Re: Mixing songs with different bpm in Live

I think the solution is to put the tracks you want to mix in simpler. One simpler on track 1 with a complete track as a sample, other simpler on track 2 with the other track as sample. This way the tracks can play with the original tempo in ableton, doesn't matter wich bpm your sequencer is playing....

Re: Mixing in Ableton (mixing tracks in different original tempo

Hi everyone, I write electronic music in various genres and want to be able to play live some of my tracks by mixing some of their components in Ableton DJ view (or however it''s called). The problem occurs when I try to end one track which is in one tempo and start another which is in another. Is ...

Re: Ableton health warning.

Apart from putting on weight, since I got Live and a new computer on a proper desk, I have a trapped nerve in my left arm. This was caused by resting my chin on my hand like the Thinker while staring at the screen, in other words keeping my arm bent too long. I have stopped doing that now of course...

Re: How Many of You Wish You Had a Place to Get Away to 4 Music?

Funny topic, some posts are so recognisable. I thought I really had a problem / addiction. Perhaps this is true, but al least now I know I'm not alone. I even want to emigrate to Brasil not purely for this reason, lovely country, temperature etc. But it was a great part. Already bought a house there...

Re: Producing House Music with Ableton Live: Arrangement & FX

Actually, I reckon a tips and tricks vid would go down well. Like mix tips, workflow tips etc etc. What do you think? Yes, that would be very nice. I like your work. Very clear tutorials, very effective !! I haven't seen the mastering tutorials on the groove3 site yet, but since Ableton live is a c...

Re: Is Ableton good for anything other than DJ/electronica?

I've used cubase before I decided to switch to Live. So I know why it is intimidating to you. Actually ableton has the session view, and cubase has not. This makes Live fun and easy for musicians, but for me in the beginning this was confusing. Now that I've got used to the session view, I would hav...

Re: Micro tonic for making drum loops?

Microtonic is absolute fun. and the patternarium quickly shows you of what it's capable of.

Consider to buy the bundle ( microtonic + synplant ) of you're looking for a crazy fun synth as well.

as was stated before in this topic : the best vst purchase I made.
