Re: Starting a daily music practice: the 40 Minute Music Project
As I now have a young baby, it's difficult to find the time at home to sit and spend the time writing. So when at work On my lunch I try to come up with ideas using my iPad and all the little funky apps that's been released.
Then I take the audio and import it into Ableton.

Live packs
I want to expand my library, are the Live packs good? They seem quite expensive. Just wondered what people's opinions are of them and if they use them?
Thanks

Drum and Bass Tune
Hi all,
Here's my 3rd attempt at a DNB tune made in Ableton.

I'd be interested to know what you think. Personally I think it's not mixed quite right, I'm still figuring out what I'm doing with EQ and compression etc

Re: Drum controller advice
Shame, the padkontrol is sold! Ah we'll. Hmmm I'm now waiting on a reply on the trigger finger. I'm now wondering whether maschine mikro is worth the investment or a different drum controller. I would like something similar to imaschine for banging out beats. Spotted a cheap akai lpk8 £29 but looks ...

Hi all, Having never used pads before Ive been messing with imaschine on my iphone and really like it. VST Tal elek7ro presets help
Hi there, Can anyone help please? I'm trying to follow some tutorials from computer music magazine and it keeps telling me to load up the default patch for the Tal elek7ro. However when I do this and load it up I can't seem to access any of the pre-sets. Oh and I'm using Live Intro (which rocks!) :P...

I'm confused about drums and creating simple beats
Sorry guys this is the first music software I have ever used. I'm confused about creating drum beats? There's Impulse, the Drum rack and individual wav hits. Whats the best way to create drum beats? Whats the advantage of using either way? I used Impulse last night and the piano roll..which seemed o...
