Re: What has your hometown unleashed musically?

Holy fuck, I almost think you're lying. That's quite an impressive list. Haha :D - haven't been to the lounge for a few days, so I missed this! No lie, I think it's the snowy winters that force us into basements or bars to jam, or dance and drink beer watching people jam . . . that and lots of unem...

Re: What Do I Sound Like?

Hi! Sounds great - I think that a Drift Spaceman and The Freakness show would be awesome! I couldn't tell from your site where you are located though (and I just noticed that we're guilty of the same thing on our site!). The Freakness calls it's music space-porn music, or jazztronica. Hippies, freak...

If you like iTunes you'll like Apple products. For hundreds of other choices, try Linux or PC.

Re: Behringer FCB1010 limited usage

Actually, I have seen that software (Mountian's MIDI editor), and I remember it being really buggy with my set up, I ended up using the Ripwerx soft to better effect. here's more info and a screenshot, and link: http://www.voes.be/fcb1010/software.htm

Re: Behringer FCB1010 limited usage

RuthlessWobbles, as far as your banks keeping assignment across the top in all banks, is it possible that yours has been modified with the Uno firmware chip https://secure.mtnsys.com/faq-fcb/UnO%20Firmware.htm - people do this to enable "stompbox mode", and I believe it can be disabled.

Re: Behringer FCB1010 limited usage

I am unfamiliar with the editor you are using, but the FCB can do quite a lot with midi. Most guitar related midi pedals do only PC, which is not terribly useful in Ableton Live, but can be used to change patches on vst's. CC's are good for continuously variable things, like volume or wah - you prob...

Re: a very useful MIDI tip

Yeah, the blue hand rules. Someone famous once taught me this trick - if you have something that you don't want to have the blue hand interfering with (looper for example), you can put that in a rack without macros so the knobs and blue hand focus wont accidentally disturb it.
