sending specific note on/off depending on track clip status
i'm trying to start my first patch. let's say clip is played on track 3 i would like to make led blinking on my controller (it require sending specific note on/off repeatedly) and note off if it is not played/stopped. same for other tracks with different note numbers. is there any good guide for beg...

While NI lists all of those mixers as being Tractor ready, I don't use Tractor and don't DJ, so I am wondering if there are other mixers that are user-friendly to Ableton and will allow me to map each track in Ableton to a channel in the mixer. "traktor ready" mixers in context of ableton...

what about touchosc? it is generic midi/osc controller, but there is posibility combining it with http://livecontrol.q3f.org/ for better control.

ah, so your knob was sending midi to live and you expected leds to be updated from live midi info? it was not synced (knob/led) within your controller?

i would rather say it is "unofficial" as you can implement features restricted to apc40/launchpad on any controller.
i think hanz has once a problem with updating led rings in realtime on his scripts, which he finally solved - maybe you can ping him and ask?

i have tried mod described here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJSmCSJIoyU on apc40. works fine so far. clip buttons lighs are little dimmer, both on single and dual usb.
