About a month after I bought Sonar 5 Studio and was getting into it, I bought an extra copy from a coworker who mis-ordered a copy. I never launched Sonar or Acid or used my SP808 sampler again.

you didn't post the device name.

in Live instead of selecting 1/2 as the input, select just 1. if that doesn't pop up, go the options->preferences->audio and enable the outputs.

and check the manual, it's well written.

read the manual section on recording, the manual is actually well written. if you want to record track 1, you record it from a different track. if you can write a SHORT, CLEAR, CONCISE description of what you're trying to do we can help. this is an easy problem to solve, I understand that you're new...
