looper is programmed to render loops as "beats" when you make them clips
there should be a control for the warp mode

Re: Live looping: Transposition of content in Looper device
you could drag the loops into 2 clips ("drag me" in looper)
copy both, transpose them, then drag into 2 new looper tracks
one thing to note, loops are rendered to "beats" (you can only change this in clips) you should consolidate clips before you add them to looper

Re: Looper: is it possible to add or insert empty bars?
not with looper itself
there is a workaround though.. drag your loop into an empty clip of an audio track.. edit the clip length.. then drag it back into looper

Re: Transposition Automation in Live 8 Intro
interesting.. i thought you were talking about pitch bend.. now i see what you mean
when you automate the transposition of an audio track in live it creates a separate slice for each transposition
not what you would expect

Re: Transposition Automation in Live 8 Intro
in live 8 you can display automation via the box below the track name by selecting "show automation".. or you can expand the track height and then select +
i see now though youre using live intro.. perhaps this function isnt available in that version

in the arrangement view, underneath the track name, there are two boxes with small triangles. there you'll find your automated parameters marked red

Re: delete a clip in a specific clip slot. possible with midi?
looper has no latency issues per se... it's only going to have as much latency as your system/settings allow. it's just like a machine that gos when you say go and stops when you say stop. nothing wrong in other words with the plugin. you might try posting a new topic addressing the latency in your ...

if you're working w/ live 8 you can just insert a Looper plugin on each track. one button for each loop, three functions... super easy.

Re: -18db digital = 0db analog
surprising no one has really answered the original post without taking it too literally. of course the equation is false, but in audio tech isn't there an equation with -18 & 0? cut the guy some slack, it's not a stupid question. it's potentially confusing, but -18db does = 0db if you're compari...

Re: Universal Audio (AU) Plug-ins
unfortunately the same goes for auditioning the plugins - you have to have a dedicated UA hardware processor in order to do it.

Latency from your sound card probably. Which audio interface are you using? and how are you routing midi to your computer?

Re: Rhino 2.0 not loading properly
You mean the soundbank is not loading properly. If other soundbanks are loading then it would seem the issue is with just that one. Do a little investigative work - the banks are located in users > app data (hidden file) > roaming > big tick... The tmp.sav is not a soundbank file btw - not sure of i...
