hey i have a microkorg hooked up to ableton with a midi to usb cable and it hardly ever works as a controller for midi.

sometimes it works but usually it doesnt. any ideas?

so im bringing up the External Audio Effect "Effect" into ableton but when i check out the options i dont see reason come up, when i do this for external insturment i get reason to come up though.

can anyone help out?

when i had the song in itunes i used a bpm counter to find out it was 100 but then once i put the song into ableton it goes 111.17

the track sounds like it is the same timing but the metrnome is not matching it at all. and when i put it to 100 it sounds far to slow

any ideas?

so im dragging my acapella into abelton live and i know the tempo of the acapella is 100bpm and i set ableton to that when i put it in and it doesnt sound right, ive tried everything.

how can i match the click to the acapella? any help?

its not that i want replicate the exact sound but just get something similar in terms of a hard buildup could you possible suggest what effects from ableton id have to put on my synths to get that sound? the reverb i could easily figure out on my own but its just, i can never get a really good frequ...

yeah im actually already using the "external insturment" i got all my midi stuff set up right and ive got the arp to work before like this. also, its only letting me drop midi effects to the left of my External Insturment.
