Re: Third Octave Spectrum Analyser?

Well, since the photograph of the front panel has the actual frequency division values already spelled out for you (remembering them is always the hard part), there's no reason you couldn't whip one up yourself using an fffb~ object, is there?

Re: VIZZable 2: video suite for Live 9

The current bottleneck for 64-bit Vizzable support isn't Mr. Zeal's problem or fault. At the moment, Jitter support itself is still in progress for the 64-bit version of Max [owing to the fact that 64-bit support for Jitter video playback and other QuickTime features weren't included in the initial ...

Re: new to MaxForLive? want to learn?

Perhaps it's helpful to have something to compare one's goals *to.* How about these videos for beginning M4L users as a way to guide your thinking? http://cycling74.com/wiki/index.php?title=Programming_in_Max_for_Live_Episode_1:_An_Introduction_to_Programming_in_the_Max_Environment http://cycling74....

Re: cant locate the max tutorials/lessons in live 9

If you're referring to the Session-based lessons originally released with Max for Live 1.0, my understanding is that they will be made available as Live packs at some future point (as will be the case with the initial "Big Three" devices released as a part of Live 1.0 that remain useful as...

Re: One big buffer~ for live sampling

You'll almost certainly need a counter. since you can easily get sample rate info, it's not like it's going to be rocket surgery, though.

Re: live.object Modes ?

It's part of the M4L.api.ConfigureControlSurface helper mode, and of limited use [it only supports the APC or the launchpad] in terms of general control surface support. Perhaps a closer look at the patch and the dumpout outlet might tell you something....

Re: Custom Curves for LFO?

If you've got Max 6 and can include gen~ stuff, I put a nice 7-segment envelope generator in the gen~ examples folder that you might find useful.

You might want to have a look at the table object rather than itable.

Re: VIDEO: nudge forward/backward

If you're in some situation where you're outputting a single video but want to see multiple videos playing as a part of your interface in a M4L device front panel (for things like mixing, effects control, etc.), then it's trivial in Jitter. There is a standard object (jit.pwindow) expressly created ...
