MIDI selection changed - how do I select a note + empty area afterwards?
Hi! Haven't used Live in a few months, and just installed it on my new machine. When selecting a whole bar containing a note at the beginning, only the note itself gets selected - not the whole bar. I can't find any explanation of this change anywhere. I can select the empty area, but that will sele...

Re: ACTUAL Multi-Clip Editing—Editing notes from different clips
Yes! I was incredibly disappointed to see it marketed as multi clip *editing*, when -as you say- it's just multi clip *viewing*. Bitwig's piano roll works the way I was expecting from Live 10, and it lets you lock clips for editing. By locking every clip except the one in the foreground, you get Liv...

Re: Multiple MIDI clip transpose!
We can transpose a selection of audio clips. Why can't we transpose a selection of MIDI clips? With the multiple clip view, isn't there a way in Live's source code to just loop through the clips and send keystrokes? I imagine the following pseudocode: for each clip in selection: send_keypress(ctrl+a...

I'm still sad that we can't transpose multiple MIDI clips with one action, like we can do with audio clips.

Re: Access standard menus (File, Edit..) when in fullscreen
On Windows 10, I used to be able to press alt+f to access the file menu in full screen, but now it doesn't work. Please fix! :/

Re: Multi clip editor option: Fit shorter clips to longest clip
Actually, I've discovered that what I really want is simply the ability to change individual clips' loop length from the multi editing window.
I can do this in Isotonik's editor: https://isotonikstudios.com/product/mid ... ip-editor/

Re: Multi clip editor option: Fit shorter clips to longest clip
I then have to duplicate its contents, so that the two clips are the same length. You mean like having access to the double button? No, I mean like copying+pasting the 1 bar clip's contents to make it 2 bars (or clicking the loop brace and hitting CTRL+D). In arrangement view, it can be done if you...

Multi clip editor option: Fit shorter clips to longest clip
I have two MIDI clips: - Repetitive lead synth with bass notes (1 bar) - Pad (4 bars) I want to adapt the 1 bar clip's bass notes to fit the pad's bass notes (4 bars). When in the multi clip window, I can only edit the first bar of the repetitive synth. I then have to duplicate its contents, so that...

Live 10: Clip view boxes/params should have fixed position
In Live 9's clip view, the clip/notes/envelopes boxes always stayed in the same place, regardless of piano roll height. This has changed in Live 10 - both box headers and fields are now moving with the piano roll's height. With Live 9's fixed position, I could just move the cursor out of habit, and ...

Re: Live 10: True multi editing - select from multiple clips
I know, right! I was sure that was the main reason too, but it seems many people love just seeing a visual indication of how clips relate to each other. I heard about Live 10 one week after the announcement, and I had to watch like 7 videos on YouTube before finding someone who unsuccessfully tried ...

Re: Global tuning / transpose knob
Multiple audio clips can be transposed/tuned by selecting the clips, and finding the clip view (shift+tab).
(I wish we had the same option for MIDI tracks.)

Hehe, no worries - it's important for Ableton to have all feature requests organised properly. Actually, this Centercode suggestion currently has more votes than the one I linked to previously: https://ableton.centercode.com/project/feedback/view.html?cap=f2a8af8874d748189b70ab7c0c1a5878&uf=7f37...
