Re: Post AU/VST plugin issues here!

Update - For the first time in well, what seems like forever.. ABLETON WORKS FLAWLESSLY :-D I know that others may not be so lucky, but I feel after all the negative stuff I have voiced my opinion on in the past I should be fair, and post on here when I think they've done something right. After inst...

Re: Fix the sync issues now !! yes or no ?

Mac's core midi / core audio seems to minimize any drifting over time, and on the whole is the reason mac users probably don't have to deal with midi glitches as often as pc users do. If you run a pc, especially with a multicore processor, you should always disable core parking, and any other power ...

Re: Fix the sync issues now !! yes or no ?

one other observation..when beeing in EXT sync mode..its is possible to switch that off and your slave just runs allong with out iteruption.. great but.. siwtching it on while running again even on the wordclocked sytem causes a glitch that allmost sets the slave in the offbeat. Interestingly also,...

Um, think I had this problem too. You may need to check you have the latest version of quicktime if you are taking your live 6 project from another computer. Don't ask me why, but it seemed to do the trick for me. Also if any parts of your project are midi, they may not work either. This problem was...

LIVE 7.0.1 missing major feature.. Nudge 'keep' and 'revert'

Upgraded to 7.0.1.. And cpu spikes / midi sync problems aside- I've just noticed my favourite feature is gone! With no reference to this in the changes / updete documentation. When warping audio loops in LIVE 6 (clip view window) you were able to set global quantize to none, and 'nudge' the start ma...

I had a similar sounding problem when resampling clips or bouncing down sets, but later discovered it was just that I was listening back to them warped within ableton.. but.. I later found that sometimes when I reload a recent set my complex warped samples sound crackly. I found that going through a...

Sounds like my problem..

Just want a way to use live as a master for my external gear. Using external gear as the clock source introduces so many other delay / latency issues that I dont want to go there. Tried every config and combination of live and its midi settings, and I think its just another one of those issues where...

A way to send clock when stopped? Live 5

Sorry if somebody has covered this before, but I haven't got time to search all the forums. Been reading up on the international midi specs, as I've been having trouble syncing my tb303 and Machinedrum to live (5.02). Usually with hardware, clock is always being sent. When you hit play all slave uni...

I love this site. Seeing posts like this make me feel like I'm definately using the right software  15 years, never had a bad one, wouldn't see the point of being here if I'd never tried it... And as Bill Hicks says, it should be MANDATORY to take it at least once in your life. Happy Birthday ...
