I've never really gotten into the workflow for P5v2. Some apps just don't have the right fit and that was the case for me and P5. But Dimension is imho one of the best synths included with any host. If you're interested in trying p5v2, I'm selling my original copy. You don't get an upgrade path due ...

hmmm - so stylus RMX can import rex files can you import your own loops and then replace different parts of the loop with your own drums? I try not to use pre-made (or factory) loops and drums most if not all my loops are samples from vinyl can you do that with RMX? curious Sure, RMX lets you impor...

Regarding cpu usage of the reverb, there are 2 reverbs included with RMX: a simple one which is light on the cpu, and a sophisticated one which uses more cpu. As with all reverbs, there is a tradeoff between audio quality with cpu usage. Hi Glenn, great to see your presence here on the Live forum. ...

Not doing sends is not a big deal for me personally since the whole point of exporting tracks is to do mixing in another app anyway. I'll generally only use the sends in Live for a bit of ambience, and then later on go crazy with the fx in another host.

RE: TapeIt -- i'm intrigued but i'm curious about cpu spikes and glitches that occur during realtime playback. I can only assume that tapeit would capture these anomalies as well, and uh, being the fx whore that i am the results it brings might not be what i want :? Is this right? I too am annoyed ...

Thanks for the suggestion, though. Tapeit looks well worth the money.

These Back to my original question, is there an easier way of bouncing several tracks individually than soloing and rendering each track one by one? Well first off, bouncing and rendering are 2 different things. It looks as if your main concern is rendering so one way i can recommend is spending $2...

I wouldn't mind having several of those if I had the cash, but I guess it wasn't meant to be...

but I'm inspired now to look into making my own midi interface...some of these are excellent.

That sucks, just having the ability to right mouse click on a track and bounce it, the same way you freeze tracks, would be nice. Or even drag and drop to a folder in the browser would be cool. It's funny how an application could have som many positives about it, but the one or 2 negatives you find ...

Bouncing individual tracks

Hello, I was wondering what techniques people are using to export their Live tracks to mix down in other applications. I'm using Live to build the rough outlines of songs because I really like working in session view for layering audio and midi elements together, and working with clips there. But I ...

WARNING!!! I feel you about their music, it's definatly special and poetic. BUT never ever go and see them live, all your fantasies will be gone within the first couple of tracks, Live performing is just something some people should leave to the ones who have that special touch and feel the public....

Say what you will about the man's religious convictions, but his VST is one of the fattest sounding synths I've heard, free or not. I must admit his GUI needs a little help from above, though.

greetings, I can confirm this strange behaviour. Oddly, the first time thru following your exact steps my outputs worked fine, it was only after auditioning several different multi's did I start seeing the bug. In addition, it seemed like only certain tracks were causing issues, when trying to load ...

This is the VST you're looking for, pretty new but works amazing. Free demo to try out and some flash demos at the website. http://www.livelab.dk/index.php or just get energy XT - It's cheaper, it's a FULLY MODULAR HOST, and it has a fully functional sampler+sequencer built in... whatever ;) http:/...
