Hi,
If you are using a Drum Rack with a Simpler devices in it to play the samples then you can adjust the pitch of the kick sample using the Simpler's Transpose and Detune controls located near the bottom right of the simpler.

That certainly might be handy
I've got three identical monitors and run live spread across two of them, using the third monitor for 3rd party plugin windows, awesome! And it actually has massively improved my efficiency and speed when producing too!

Re: Latency Problem with Zoom H2 mic
Hi,
Considering you have already followed the latency tut's there are still a couple of things you could check. Firstly I am assuming you are using ASIO drivers, rather than MME/DirectX drivers as this makes a huge difference. If so, then make sure you have got your buffer settings set to as low as ...

Re: Can Envelope Editor's Midi CCs be controlled via Midi?
Hi,
I know it works when you are recording MIDI into a clip, for example if you record a clip where you are adjusting the CCs during the recording then you will find that the envelope of that clip then contains the CC information. I don't think it is actually possible to do it when just playing the ...

Re: MIDI split
Hi,
There is a very simple solution to be able to do that, which is to use a MIDI effects rack, or an instrument rack, depending on exactly how you want to do it. Simply chuck the rack on the MIDI channel that is receiving / playing the MIDI you want to work with. Click the button on the left of ...

Hi,
I don't know if it's possible with Live 6, but you can try the trick that jlgrimes mentioned. Grab hold of the track by it's title bar (the bit with it's name in it) and drag it into the file browser, if it works live will let you rename it in the browser. You can then drag it straight back ...

Re: New User Clip Automation Question
I just double-checked, and I don't know what rig you are using Mr-Bit, but my MIDI keyboard combined with Live 8 does allow me to record MIDI CCs into the clip envelopes. I tried multiple CCs and they all worked, and all of the data ended up the the clip envelopes, and played back properly. The ...
