Re: Live 10 Standard...No Way!

First of all, being 64bit only it is not compatible with better half of my plugins while being nearly the same as Live9. What's the point?
So i paid extra to say goodbye to Pro53 and Absynth4? Nice :(

Re: Problem with installing ableton on new laptop

Fuck Live! I am having this shit again, I had Live 8 running on the same system for years and now after OS reinstall i can't install the bloody thing. I reinstalled every other program just fine, but Live would not install.

Re: try to sell this guy a softsynth.... I dare you.

It may well be soft on the inside(we all are), but i wish any of the softsynths woreked as well, not to mention that NL has unrivaled interface.

Re: ableton your simpler/sampler is worthless

BUT, Live is on CPU hungry side to begin with, so with all these HQ settings On....
Basically, when my songs go beyond 10-12 tracks, i find myself moving to Reaper3 or Sam8. And it's a shame, because otherwise i love Live best.

Re: Roland announces Jupiter 80 - A worthy successor?

That's all Roland has been doing lately, Juno-D, Juno-G, Juno-Di, now it's Jupiter...just putting an old famous name and look on some less then convincing compromise of a synth.

V-Synths kick ass, this thing is not convincing at all.

I am sure there must be this sort of thread already...

... but i could not find it. So i noticed that vast majority of people here use Macs, myself a PC user, i've been frustrated with Laptops. PC Laptops are a gamble, finding one that will be powerful enough and work for music production is not easy. My latest Notebook(Dell XPS M1710) was a waste of mo...

Re: What headphones do you use?

Rupert, one does need to wear their best pair of cans to listen to your "shoot out" :D Well, i did wear my SRH840 and it helped. No, really, when reviewing pro audio gear, don't you think it'd be nicer to make it sound nice enough? This reminded me of the video by either EletronicMusician....

A little update on my new SRH840.

A little update on my new SRH840. I am mainly comparing them to MDR-7509. So the design is a little odd, especially the wires that run on the outside of the bend. Comfort - way better then HD280 pro, but nowhere as comfortable as 7509, headache after about an hour and an unpleasant pressure on top o...

Re: Editing/Mixing in Pro Tools or Logic

If you like Logic go with Logic, what can you possibly need to be done that Logic can't do?!
If i was a Mac user i would use Logic, but i use Windows,so it's Samplitude and Live for me.
