Re: Live 12 Beta
I am also very disappointed with the Live 12 announcement. The Push 3 Standalone owners have bought an unfinished product with a lot of bugs - which still haven't been fixed. Instead of Ableton fixing Push 3 before they release a new product, we are forced to pay money again (in the hope that this u...

Re: Ableton support doesn't respond to process Push return
Here it is the same. I received a P3s with several hardware defects. Not a single response for 2 weeks. Today I called Ableton. There is only an answering machine that says: "telephone support is no longer available until further notice". Great! … support is just extremely backed up with v...

Re: P3S is totally overloaded when multiple notes are sent to the TRS MIDI Out at the same time
Well I would certainly want to check that, because MPE can generate a lot more data, and DIN/TRS MIDI connections will choke on quantity of data more easily than USB. This is not me claiming that this is certain to be the problem, just that it is something I would want to check in detail. Ah ok, I ...

Re: Push accidentally creates new projects
Press and hold Shift and then press Save. But I have to admit that saving also irritates me a lot. Why are there no folders containing all the versions of my song? All songs + all versions of a single song are on one "level" in the browser. That is extremely confusing and uncluttered. Or i...

Re: P3S is totally overloaded when multiple notes are sent to the TRS MIDI Out at the same time
Somehow you don’t seem to read carefully. ;) Yes, I do: I send notes to the TRS MIDI Out. Only for the test and the reproducibility I have not connected a synth. No, I don't route anything internally. It doesn't help that you connected a few synths and it worked. The point is that when MANY notes ar...

Ah ok, the clip launch quantisation. As far as I know, it doesn't work at the moment - but it will be implemented soon.

There is a secret button (labeled „Quantize“).

Re: P3S is totally overloaded when multiple notes are sent to the TRS MIDI Out at the same time
To make it as easy as possible for everyone to reproduce (and also to rule out a mistake on my part), I didn't set anything special, didn't connect anything - just created a new empty project. Have you tried to reproduce it? I would be very surprised if it was different for you. There are no problem...

P3S is totally overloaded when multiple notes are sent to the TRS MIDI Out at the same time
If, for example, I use 6 MIDI tracks that play several notes and send them to the TRS MIDI Out (not USB) of P3S, P3 is completely overloaded. The reaction of the pads, the LEDs and everything on the unit only works/reacts with an extreme(!) delay of several seconds. This does not "only" af...

Re: P3: some function buttons are crooked/slanted in the unit? (with photo)
maaaybe the session d-pad and the layout button group are a bit higher on the right side, but both sides are still above the case. the tilt is so little it doesn't bother me Thank you very much for the information! Then the problem with my device seems to be more extreme than average. I have now co...

Re: Push 3: Can't change headphone volume
Maybe I can help you with this problem. Also my volume knob reacted very unreliably when I pressed it to switch the different modes (Master Volume, Headphone Volume...). Often nothing happened, then it worked again, then again not... I then noticed that the sound was different when I pressed it than...

Re: Editing Note Length in Push Stepsequencer is not working as expected.
I also recognized problems with note lengths (when making them longer within the step sequencer/pads). Sometimes it works correctly.. sometimes not. Can’t reproduce it, unfortunately.

Re: P3: some function buttons are crooked/slanted in the unit? (with photo)
@jiggle: Many thanks for looking. No, unfortunately I don’t see any chance, because th buttons sit relatively fixed in their position. However, I have noticed that the case can be pushed down almost a millimetre (0.04 inch) at one point: left edge, between the Note Mode button and the left arrow. So...
