If we can't have 64-bit Live (and I understand how complex that project must be), could we at least have 64-bit Rewire, or some sort of bridge between 64-bit Rewire and Live running in 32-bit? That would be sublime. Reason now does 64-bit rewire, and it's fantastic used with Logic running 64 bit.

Live would be the first app which bridges rewire between architectures... Considering how many dev teams struggle bridging vst plugins, this would be masterpiece... Let's get serious: x64 is needed, but it won't happen soon and way more than ableton is involved, too. Until then, invest in vepro5/jB...

What is the clou behind 64bit Rewire? Logic is 64 bit. Most of the major plugin manufacturers are now 64 bit. Logic works better and smoother, can handle lots more plugins, and more tracks, at 64 bit (that is our experience anyway, 15 composers in house, all have switched to 64 bit). BUT Logic cann...

I really don't care if Live is 64 bit or not. But what I really really really need is support for 64-bit Rewire, so I can use Live via Rewire with Logic in 64 bit mode.
