Re: ableton 9 wig!
I wonder if they are actually Ableton looking to rebrand after a disasterous 8th revision?

ableton 9 wig!
Holy mackerel batman. It seems all of our feature requests have finally been answered!

Looks like even the ableton staff got fed up of bugfixing and went about doing ableton 9 themselves!!! Poor old abes, looks like they've been left high and dry.

Re: 8.2.8 - the final step?
I refuse to make anymore music until Live 9 is out. Sick of using the free version of ableton that came with my apc40 now, i've been waiting to upgrade for 2 years! Shucks I was looking for that new album you were coming out with. I guess I will have to just hold my breath... You can catch me live ...

snapshots
Hi, can anyone recommend and third party software or max for live plug that will take global snapshots AND allow user controlled morphing from one to the next? Tried Kapture and Kapture pad, but it doesnt allow user controlled morphing of global snapshots ( only track snapshots). They've tried to im...

Re: eq with frequency analyser for more than one track at once
Yeah you could, but how would you lower a frequency for one track and not the other.
Would be so much easier than going from on frequency analyser to another, then remembering which frequencies are important to each track, and then opening the eq on each track and adjusting them accordingly.

store snapshots of all live's parameters and then be able...
to fade between snapshots with a knob/slider. This would make it easier to traverse between different mixer/device/vst's settings on the fly......almost like being able to draw hundreds of envelopes at once with a predetermined start and endpoint for each....

eq with frequency analyser for more than one track at once
I'd like to be able to analyse and eq multiple tracks within one device. Hows about if the frequency anaylyser could display an average frequency activity line for selected tracks over a user defined section of a song, then show them in one chart for quick comparison. The user could then select whic...

this forum feature
I think the abes should remove duplicate ideas from this forum and combine all the duplicates into individual threads, so its easier to see the popularity of each idea. Each reply in the threads should have an agree or disagree button aswell, with totals showing on each thread on the feature wishlis...

relative mode for mixer during mixdown
So I've just finished the arrangement on a tune and got all my volume automations in etc. Now I want to do the mixdown without damaging all the automation. It would be neat if there was a mixdown button that set all the mixing controls to relative so they wouldnt break these automations. How do peop...

Re: When is Live 9 coming?
I don't care how long it takes as long as it has clip based controller movement recording, and user controlled morphing of global/track snapshots.
