K-Bow is built in Max and provides comprehensive signal analysis, resynthesis etc
As well as obtaining info from the bows physics - check it out at Keith McMillen Instruments
But yes there are a number of available or easily made M4L things that could get him started . . .

Re: Monomodular Thread (New m4l based Installers)
Hi It was actually a M4l patch which I thought was deleted but on another channel at a save point . . . For some reason it only functions properly when Max editor gets opened, otherwise massive memory/audio issues! Fully licensed with both apps, so not sure what the issue is -still investigating, an...

Re: Monomodular Thread (New m4l based Installers)
Hi My most humble apologies for a case of jumping to an early wrong conclusion . . . Apart from the initial issue of some of the files not being copied during install due to permissions all is good. The problem I was experiencing was in no way related to your Monomodular package Sorry to have caused...

Re: using a violin sound to control knobs
Hi
Check out the K-Bow by Keith McMillen for the bestest solution, although it is expensive
There are also various 'audio-to-midiCC' vst's that will react to volume and send midi CC's
Or if you have Max/M4L there are numerous approachs that could be taken in that environment . ..
Cheers

Re: Max API DeviceDecimator?
Thanks for that,
Yes it was there - must not have auto-installed
PS Good job on the CovOp devices ...
No to do a bit of research/play with these new additions
Cheers

Max API DeviceDecimator?
Hi All Saw a vid that mentioned the Max API DeviceDecimator, suggesting it should be in Live's 'Max Audio Effects/Tools/API' folder however I don't have this folder . . . Have done a full search but cannot find this on my system , nor find it via this forum or net search! Any ideas? Have Max & M...
