yah, sampler is definitly a good buy. not as supersized as kontakt,but for me it is a plus. i kinda get lost in those millions parameters\effects etc... sampler is a straightforward multisample playback machine with lots of synth-like capabilities such as a huge modulation matrix, modulation sources...

you can do it in sampler. so if you own sampler,just right click in the upper bar of the simpler, click simpler->sampler, then go to FILTER, GLOBAL, tweak the attack slop (a little circle on the attack part, and the slopes for attack, decay and release will be visible and you can tweak the release c...

i dont know if i got your question, but i usually use the release value of each simpler in a drum rack to tweak the tail of one shots...

thanks for the opinion. im a bit concerned too about the halfsized display, but touch sensitive faders will bring the track names up as soon as u touch em...but surely you'll miss the immediacy of havin tracknames just above faders... anyway im tryn editin the template....but it absolutely makes no ...

well, i have one. i dont agree with it soundin sterile. if you are lookin for ultra fat low end maybe this is not the best solution, maybe better lookin for a doepfer dark energy or a mopho, or tetra. anyway it is everything but sterile, is an incredible little monster capable of screaming like hell...
