First question : why everytime the track plays and i move the start marker, the track skips the same distance i have moved the marker
for example, the track plays, my start marker is at 23. the track is playing. i move the marker to 26, the track skips 3 bars and continues ...

hissing is never a good sign. some soundcard settings perhaps.
i am not an expert so i don't know the reason or the fix.
i have 2 controllers also but never tried to use them both, i will when i leave from work and let you know how that went [i have vista, apc 40 and m audio oxygen 8]

Well that would because of ableton trying to detect certain frequencies like kicks, and sometimes it get's confused.
No software is that advanced so it recognises the exact start of each beat.
it is a easy fix. i do this everytime 200 markers appear.
after loading a track and activating warp ...
