Finally Pressed Vinyls...

For a few years now I've been looking to press some discs to sell locally, just to see if people were interested, to gauge reactions... A distributor has taken enough from me that I am no longer losing money, so I am now donating any and all profits made to Amnesty International. As for the vinyl, 7...

Sad Techno

The most depressing piece of music I have made in a long time. Probably not a good sign :-)

Two new techno tracks. Broken hardware.

Been a long time since I posted here... but I just made a couple of new tracks that I'm really proud of. Lots of hiss, tape delay and crackles (my patchbay has a dirty connection, it seems). Not a single VST (not that there's anything wrong with VSTs). No final stage compression either, so turn up t...

Renaming The Piano Roll

Hi guys,

I'm setting Ableton up to control my external hardware. What would really help is if I could find a tool or method that would let me rename the nots in the piano roll. For example, change 'C1' to 'Kick'.

Anyone know how this can be done? I have Max for live, if that's needed.

Thanks

Re: How to Increase the Sounds Quality ?!

32bit vs. 64bit is purely an academical pursuit. Yes, it increases sound quality, but my an amount that no human can hear, an no monitor can reproduce.

Re: How to Increase the Sounds Quality ?!

Best wat to increase sound quality: use your ears. Really listen to what you are doing, don't just hear it.

Plodding Scottish Electro (Includes Multi Track downloads)

Tony Bernardo - Product / Sketch Made in ableton. Boing! It's in a zip file because I thought it would be interesting to include a short copy of the demo, along with the final track. Hope you like. 24bit FLAC http://www.naimarecordings.com/music/flac/naima008.zip MP3 http://www.naimarecordings.com/m...

Re: Seriously chopped

Not for me. I prefer to give people the files. It's an ideology thing.

Non-ambient Experimentation

Really pleased with this one. A nice mix of electronics and live recorded percussion.

Re: 808 Minimal Techno (swinging grooves)

Am 2 minutes into How Love Is Your Deep and loving it... very, very nice indeed... very toe-tapping, very danceable... Will post more when I've listened to all of the tracks. Only tip would be to put them somewhere on a site where it can be streamed, maybe just for the lower bitrate ones... Really ...

Re: 808 Minimal Techno (swinging grooves)

Ok, back again. Great tracks. Felt the first one "How Love Is Your Deep" was the strongest one of the three, followed by the second "Me Versus My Angel", then the third. Love the slow build up on the first and the beats. Felt the first one was the most self-assured and had the c...

808 Minimal Techno (swinging grooves)

Over the past week I've made some techno that I am very proud of. Repetitive, unfashionable, unprocessed music. just me and my little machines, no editing.
