I ran into the same frustration and ended up building something for it — FrameSync is a standalone app that syncs video to Ableton's transport via AbletonOSC. Frame-accurate on play, stop, and scrub, with drift correction over long cues. Runs outside Live so it can't crash your session.

U-he release the last version that includes VST2 support.

1. display multiple CC lanes at once in the Clip View.


2. latency compensation for Video.

I believe Live is underrated for scoring for video.

It would be great it can sync video playback automatically with delayed audio.

What's your video file's format?

The video files are MP4 (MPEG-4 AAC, H.264).

you should use Photo-Jpeg codec, if you working with big video files.

turn off wi-fi and bluetooth.

After upgrading my Mac Pro to sierra,

when dragging a velocity marker or cmd+dragging midi note up and down ,mouse gets really laggy and erratic.

when activating Pen Tablet mode, i can edit the velocity normally, but fine-tuning a parameter while holding shift is unusabled

I don’t know why Ableton would not add non indexed folders in browser.

Large Database is similar to a cancer cell, It’s getting bigger, can cause performance degradation and database malfunction.

there is no mention of Index process?

database error, high cpu, sluggishness...
