On a macbook pro (late 2011 - OS X 10.6.8), Live (32bits) stop for no reason sending computer keyboard messages to midi tracks AFTER having plugged and unplugged my headphones in the laptop.

A vst/au latency indicator for each plugin as much as I favour more information, I'm not sure of the benefit of this number for manual use. If the VST is reporting latency to the application incorrectly so that PDC is not working for you then seeing that incorrect number wont be of much assistance ...

Buy a laptop.
Hope they will contentrate all their effort to update new features on live instead of creating useless apps, cause pros need USB, firewire to get the maximum of their art.
By the way iPad is just a great controller.
