Re: MS Surface Pro Tablet Support?
I've got a touchscreen laptop and Live is pointless with touch as its only one point input. Traktor with a single input is fun for bad scratching. The only audio programs that I've seen which support multitouch are Sonar, Reaper and Usine. I'm tempted to try the free version of Usine but haven't got...

Re: djing in live.,
First thing if the meters blue rather than green then Live doesn't have the output active in the soundcards preferences (ctrl+,). If you have it acivated then deactivate then reactivate i.e make the box yellow on the 3/4 channel.
Only problem i've had with this scenario before.

Re: Live 9 Pricing
Well I'm £109 for standard Live 9 which i'm fine with but I'm sure this hasn't changed from what it was yesterday. As i thought there was supposed to be a discount on it before? I would have spent £80 on a pre-release update. However I'll be sticking with Live 8. Mainly because i don't see much adva...

You can set up ranges in the rack so that each instrument will only play specific notes.

Re: Windows 8 experiences...?
Sylenth1 does not work with Windows 8 Thats strange because win8 is just a more efficient version of win7 but with a touch friendly start menu/screen that runs RT apps. Whatever worked in win7 should work in win8. I've been running it since the consumer preview and i've had no issues. Live 32bit cr...

Re: I cannot believe how much Live crashes,,,, it's astounding!

Even with XP i only had 13 crashes since Live 8 launched. best advice is first update all drivers and vst's and defrag your hd. although is it actually crashing freezing on launch? i know when Live can't find the same soundcard from ...

Re: Windows 8 - anyone tested it?
I've been using the win8 CP since it came out and have had no problems what so ever although i had very few crashes/bugs with Live 8 in general. I went from xp to windows 8 so i can't compare my sets to windows 7 but i notice a dramatic difference in my laptops cpu when using windows 8, roughly 30-5...

Re: Opening 8.3 kills sound in other programs
Are you trying to use the same soundcard for Live and when surfing, at the same time? I've always been under the impression that if your using the same ASIO driver for 2 applications it doesn't work. I maybe completely wrong though, maybe it depends on if your sharing the same output channel. Try se...

Re: Weird Ableton issue (Windows): Losing focus
don't know whats causing the issue there as i've never experienced that with either xp or windows 8 but when trying to get back to Live, your best using Alt+Tab or Windows Key+Tab to flick through your running programs if you can't see the program icon. I always run Live full screen and use the abov...

Re: Live 8.3 FTW!
The default installation path of the Live application has changed on Windows. More information can be found in our Knowledge Base. I can't find anything in the Knowledge Base. Anybody else find anything, or know what's the deal with it wanting to install into ProgramData insteaad of Program Files (...
