Battery 2 with MIDI keyboard.

Hi blue_aidoru,
for me it's the other way round: Battery 2 is new terrain for me while Live is home turf. Seems you can play Battery as VST within Live from your keyboard - I've to admit I can't get that working! How do you do the obvious that's beyond my ken?!

Cheers.

The implementation is, NI-typically, a pain-in-the-ass. (like: all assigned controllers only belong to the specific sample-kit - right: you have to ...

MIDI updating should no longer be hidden in the preferences

With regards to the amazing Behringer BCR2000 and BCF2000 total recall MIDI-controllers dumping of actual/current/stored controller settings should be available immediately from the GUI

Behringer'S BCG is it !

I LOOOVE my new BCF with Live! Total recall? yes! Completely programmable ? Yes! 14bit controller signal resolution option ? Yes! It's not just the motorized faders (yeah, watch them move with your envelopes!) , the LED-rosary around the rotary encoders (vulgo: knobs) is smashing: it doesn't merely ...

Hmhm, seems you dropped into the wrong forum.. But anyway, judging from my vintage SoundForge 4.5 you have to click that icon in the recorder-bar/-section with the u-turn like arrow

Problem not solved: how to play Reaktor instruments (not effects) live in Live? We've to pray for good old MIDI-sequencing getting implemented

with firewire/USB 2.0 interfaces I would seriously ponder external audio-hardware: you always can hook those to your future (apple-) notebook

but that's what MIDI was made for, Live so far only allows for tweaking of controls (plus that little 3.0 appetizer of one-note at a time keyboard fiddling with clips).

Crossfaders

Hi sank,
crossfaders for each track must first be made visible: check the view-menu. For first aid, read the help window while pointing the mouse on a crossfader. for details read the manual (just enter 'crossfaders' as search-string in the pdf-window')

not just one (region- ) marker, but, spoiled from AcidPro/Sound Forge-comforts, a limitless number of markers that can be jumped to (named/edited) at your very personal convenience

Do you want to 'slice' a wav/aif file ? Or is it a midi-file? Supposing the first one: if it's a stereo-file, one can separate/'slice' the channels into two mono files with the help of any one sound-editor - given snare and drums have been recorded strictly to their own left/right channel. If you do...
